Women's Opportunity House
Our women's home is located in a secure location for the benefit of the safety and security of any community members recovering from trauma or other concerns relative to their need for a truly healing and nurturing environment.
The specific needs of many of our community members extend past having some place to stay and food to eat, and require that they are free from the forms of fear and abuse that have been the hallmarks of homelessness and poverty for too many of our mothers, sisters, and daughters.
The Opportunity Project's women's house is an opportunity for these beautiful and amazing women to have a real chance at living, as opposed to mere survival; to be empowered, rather than exploited.
